This ring starts as a flat strip of metal. I measure to the center of the strip, mark, and stamp it. I shape the ring using ring pliers and then hammer the ring on a stainless steel ring mandrel to shape it to the exact size you've selected. Sizing like this allows the piece to harden for more strength and durability. I then darken the impression with a black patina that should last through many situations. Once the ring is polished, it is wrapped up with care and shipped to you.
